This red jasper necklace is a gorgeous piece of statement gemstone jewelry. This fringe necklace has a beautiful red jasper (also referred to as poppy jasper or brecciated jasper) cabochon in a blood red color and the color just pops when it is paired with a handwoven bezel of glass hematite beads, giving it a gothic jewelry look. The metallic aspect is continued into the black fringe where I add Black Diamond Satin Swarovski crystals, black firepolished crystals and a hematite teardrop stone. Poppy jasper necklace is finished with a black bead necklace with a pretty pewter (zinc) clasp. Makes a beautiful sophisticated fashion accessory but I also think this jasper and hematite necklace would make a great piece of gothic jewelry as well.

NOTE: If your fringe looks a little wonky, rolling each strand between your fingers gently will help to straighten them out. The rolling helps to align the seed beads. This is a one of a kind unique piece.
